How do I know if my child needs mental health support?

If your child's mood or behavior is having a significant or chronic affect on their daily functioning (i.e. at home, at school, in relationships), it may be time to seek help.  These behaviors and changes may include:


How do I get support for my child?

-You can start by reaching out to your family doctor.  Family doctors can provide helpful input and offer referrals for follow up care if necessary.

-A lot of mental health supports are driven by your insurance coverage/provider.  If you do not have insurance, you can start with Network 180 for Kent County or The Right Door for Ionia County and they will help guide the next steps:
