Matching your seed is one the biggest challenge in championship meets and that is what Chris Wigger did as he grabbed the  gold medal and Al Conference honors in winning the 300m hurdles at the OK White Conference meet.  Wigger went from the start and crossed the finish line in a PR time of 40.10 which easily distanced himself from runner up finish Blake Schmitt of Greenville.  Chris’s time moves him to #3 on the LHS record board.  The race followed up a 4 th  place finish in the 110HH in 15.63 which was just off his PR 15.61 set in the prelims on Wednesday.      As a team Lowell finished in 7 th  place which matched their regular season finish.      1. The Lady Arrows entered the Ok White Conference meet with a 5 th  place regular season finish and that is where the girls finished when the scoring was completed.  The meet started out on Wednesday with a new school record as Isabel German broke her own school record of 12’0 set at the GR Elite Challenge as she soared 12’9” to capture 2 nd  place in the conference.  The event won by FHC Brooke Bowers who set a new OK White conference meet record of 13’3”.  German continued her scoring on day two as she captured three additional medals with a 2 nd  in the 400m, a 3 rd  in the 200m, and 5 th  in the 100m.   Lowell also had a conference champion with Leah Krieger grabbing the win in the 300H running a PR 46.99 which moved her to #3 on the LHS record board.   Earlier in the meet Krieger grabbed silver medalist honors in the 100H setting a new PR of 15.60 as well as a 5 th  place finish in the long jump going 15-08.   Leah earned all-conference honors with her win and Isabel earned the honor as one of the leading point scorers (26 pts) in the conference meet.      1.
